What’s Inside Willow Tree

Willow Tree is many things: a community resource, a historic house, a passionate network of volunteers, and so much more. But the Willow Tree house is also home to some amazing businesses and collectives that work tirelessly in their disciplines to support the Lansing birth and family communities.

The Willow Tree Free Store

One thing you can find inside Willow Tree Family Center is our community free store. The free store houses everything from maternity clothes and nursing bras to pumps, stroller, toys and baby clothes. The free store has regular hours you can find on our event page, but it is also open by appointment. It is also usually open to the public during our events and during the CommUNITY of Families Festival it becomes a free garage sale on the lawn!

Gentle Strength Midwifery

The Lansing Doula Network

Willow Tree is also home to the Lansing Doula Network. The LDN is a collective of diverse certified professional doulas who serve Lansing and the surrounding areas. LDN doulas are birth doulas, postpartum doulas, bereavement doulas, childbirth educators, birth photographers, prenatal yoga instructors and more!
